At Metro Detroit sled hockey, our goal is to conduct programs of education and instructions for boys and girls in the sport of amateur sled hockey. The emphasis of our organization is to develop skating ability, fundamental hockey skills and good sportsmanship
Metro Detroit Sled Hockey at a Glance
Our program started with a group of kids who loved to play recreational sled hockey, but had a desire to learn the skills needed to play competitive sled hockey. Since a competitive sled hockey team did not exist in Metro-Detroit, We came together to create Metro-Detroit's first competitive sled hockey team!.
Get Involved
You Can Make a Difference! We are always looking for volunteers with hockey knowledge and good skating abilities to help our kids on the ice. If you would like to come and try sled hockey or meet the team. We practice most Sundays from mid-September to early March at the Sportsplex in Taylor, MI.

- The Belle Tire Sled Hockey team will be having their first home game on December 3, 2022 against the Grand Rapids Sled Wings.
- The Belle Tire Sled Hockey team will be hosting their first Showcase on January 7-8, 2023. The Showcase will include 3 other youth sled hockey teams from Ohio, Indiana and West Michigan.
